It is back-to-school season and even if you are reading this after the season has passed, the prayers are important. If you own a school or are a teacher or are just a concerned parent, these prayers for our schools and for our teachers are important to help you engage the power of prayers in shaping the educational sector. 

This is very critical because our schools and teachers have the power to shape the lives of our children and when we are not careful, they may introduce and mentor our wards away from the right path under the guise of educating them. 

It is therefore important for us to pray against any form of satanic influence that may be contrary to God’s will in our schools.

1. Father, I ask that you give the teachers wisdom and understanding to communicate the right lessons to our children
2. Lord, we pray that as our children go to school, your protection will continually rest on them. Let angels secure every outlet of the school and cause your preservation power to rest on every student in the school
3. Lord, we saturate the school environment with your presence. Nothing shall by any means come near our children to hurt them
4. Father, we pray that schools begin to conform to your ways and principles. Every ploy of the devil to hinder the actualization of your plans and purposes for our kids through wrong influences and trends, we come against them in the name of Jesus 
5. Father, we ask that our schools become agents of your presence and power. Your influence will be felt in the four walls of our schools, in the name of Jesus 
6. Lord, we pray that our schools become hubs for meaningful connections and friendships. We ask that only the right friends will meet our wards as they attend school. They are not going to meet with the wrong people. 
7. Any agent of darkness, manipulative force, or power that wants to cause harm in our schools, Father, we decree your judgment against them and we ask that their plans come to null and void. 

Father, I Ask That You Give The Teachers Wisdom And Understanding To Communicate The Right Lessons To Our Children. Let Your Wisdom Fill Their Hearts and Saturate Their Minds So They Can Become Helpful to Our Children

This prayer asks for the wisdom and understanding that is needed to teach the children correctly. Teaching is not easy and when teachers do not have the requisite wisdom to handle children especially the ones in lower grades, it becomes a problem.

We have seen and heard unfortunate incidents happening in schools. This is a good prayer to pray against such using the scripture in Luke to enforce the promise of Jesus that no hurt shall come near us. 

Father, We Pray That Schools Begin To Conform To Your Ways And Principles. Every Ploy Of The Devil To Hinder The Actualization Of Your Plans And Purposes For Our Kids Through Wrong Influences And Trends, We Come Against Them In The Name Of Jesus 

Another very important prayer for our schools is to pray that they conform to the ways and principles of God. This prayer is important because the devil is always out to ensure that his influence is felt. 

If we can keep our home against his influences, he is going to find other ways to do so. This is why we need to pray that schools will not be instruments of the devil in achieving his desire to disrupt God’s plan for us and our children. 

Thankfully, in Oklahoma, the Bible is now allowed to be taught in schools but we want more. Let’s pray. 

Father, We Ask That Our Schools Become Agents Of Your Presence And Power. Your Influence Will Be Felt In The Four Walls Of Our Schools, In The Name Of Jesus 

We should also pray that God will use our schools as instruments to His glory. The Bible rightly declares in Isaiah 11:9;

The Earth, including our schools, will be filled with the knowledge of God. Why is this prayer important? 

Because it is going to strengthen and complement our efforts to raise our children in the knowledge of God. 

I understand that the school is supposed to be for learning STEM and other secular jobs but when there is a ploy to introduce satanic practices, there must be a counter-ploy from us to ensure that the knowledge of God is established even more.

This is why this prayer is important. 

Lord, We Pray That Our Schools Become Hubs For Meaningful Connections And Friendships. We Ask That Only The Right Friends Meet Our Wards As They Attend School. They Are Not Going To Meet With The Wrong People.

Another very important prayer for our schools is that they become hubs where our kids can make meaningful connections and friendships. 

The truth is, the friends your kids make at school can constitute a blessing or a curse. I remember how I almost left the way of God because of friends I met in school and how I came back on track thanks to friends I also met in school. 

By praying this prayer that God makes our schools hubs for meaningful connections and friendships, we are asking that our children will become friends with the right people. 

It was  because Dinah went to meet with the Daughters of the Land that Shechem saw her and defiled her. See Genesis 34:1-2;

The right company matters and since you can stop your children from meeting other kids at school, you can pray that they’d become friends with the right ones only. 

Any Agent Of Darkness, Manipulative Force, Or Power That Wants To Cause Harm In Our Schools, Father, We Decree Your Judgment Against Them And We Ask That Their Plans Come To Null And Void

Finally, “Any agent of darkness, manipulative force, or power that wants to cause harm in our schools, Father, we decree your judgment against them and we ask that their plans come to null and void” is another prayer for schools you should try and pray.

Whether we like it or not, there are evil people and powers that are out to cause harm and unfortunate happenings as our kids go to school.

This prayer will stop them in their plans and prevent their orchestrations to not happen.
